The Noel Coward Archive Trust Announces the Launch of Noel Coward Archive (US) Inc.

Hosted by Antony Phillipson, Her Majesty’s Consul General in New York

During the evening, The Noel Coward Archive Trust announced special details about the ground-breaking new exhibition, Noel Coward: Art & Style, set to open July 2020 at the Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London. Curator Brad Rosenstein shared a sneak preview of some of it’s unique content.

Coward was an English playwright, composer, director, actor and singer, known for his wit, flamboyance, and what Time magazine called “a sense of personal style, a combination of cheek and chic, pose and poise”

Acclaimed quotes by Noel Coward:

“My body has certainly wandered a good deal, but I have an uneasy suspicion that my mind has not wandered enough.”

“It’s discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit.”

“If you must have motivation, think of your paycheck on Friday.”

“I’m not a heavy drinker, I can sometimes go for hours without touching a drop.”

“The higher the building the lower the morals.”
